KCPA Vehicles
Vehicle Usage
Vehicle use is prohibited without driver approval and a visible reservation in calendars below. All drivers must be 21 or older and have a valid US driver's license. The approval process is detailed below. Vehicle reservations are made through your department scheduler or via the “Vehicle Reservation Form” linked below. Weekend reservations must be received by Friday at 3:30p. Please review the “Vehicle Usage Policy” for comprehensive details.
Driver Approval Process
1. Pass the KCPA Vehicle Orientation module in Canvas
Vehicle orientation is required prior to requesting Driver Approval. If you are under 21 years old or do not have a valid US driver's license, do not take the vehicle orientation. See the “Required for Use of KCPA Vehicles" section on Canvas. Start with the “KCPA Vehicle Orientation Instructions” module. You must pass the quiz with 90% or better. You may retake the quiz until you pass. 2. Request a Driver Approval Form Do not request a Driver Approval form until you meet the criteria above. Driver Approval requests and renewals are now managed through Adobe Sign. Once you have passed the Vehicle Orientation on Canvas, email Bill Kephart at [email protected] for a Driver Approval Form. If your license on file has expired, you will automatically be notified. In either case, a link to the form on Adobe Sign will be emailed to you. If you have never used Adobe Sign, please refer to the instructions below.

Vehicle Reservations
You are not permitted to use a KCPA Vehicle unless your reservation is visible in the calendar below. Each vehicle has its own calendar. To reserve a vehicle, contact your department schedulers or visit Bill Kephart in the KStore. Currently, Props, Costuming, and Stage Management all have schedulers. If your department does not have a scheduler, or they and Bill are unavailable, download the form linked below and submit per the instructions.
